    I have used weight watchers and was moderately successful but bored. I now have lost more weight using the Body By Vi Challenge than I ever did with weight watchers. I still keep track of points since it’s like easy, but I use the Vi Shakes for two meals per day which makes it really easy.

  2. I tried weight watchers once before and I quit because I was hungry all the time, I have a feeling that is why a lot of people quit as well. The point system is easy to keep track of and it is great that these shakes can be added to the weight watcher diet as well, but as I said I was always hungry so I had to try something else. I also think that the support groups help in to different ways, they are there to support you and up lift you when you are feeling down because you feel like you are failing and they are there as a reminder that you have to weigh-in in front of all these people and you are going to be embarrassed if you haven’t lost anything. Like I said I think it is great that these shakes can be added to the weight watcher diet and they are very low in points when you think about it. Thank you for the uplifting news maybe this will help get past the plateau I have been on for so long now.

  3. How do these shakes fill you up? I had very little success on weight watchers because like Shamommary I got bored with it easily and I was left feeling hungry all the time, but when the only thing you can eat for free is green beans it gets a little boring. These body by Vi shakes sound like an easy way to lose weight but I also think that they would leave you hungry as well, I tried the Slim Fast shakes as dinner replacements and they didn’t work so what makes these shakes any different from that? Is there more protein in these or something because protein and fiber are your filling agents so these must have a lot of both in them. I am very interested in trying it but I want to do a little more research first, I have a friend that is currently trying it so I will check in with them and see what they think.

Weight Watchers is a reputable company that has helped a lot of people and I understand the whole concept of points and calories etc. but I don’t understand how these shakes work exactly because I have never talked to anyone that has used them. I understand that they can be a replacement meal on the Weight Watcher plan and they are only four or five points correct? How many calories does one shack have in it then? Please don’t mis-understand me on this, I am just looking for answers as to whether it really works or not because if it does I am very interested, but unfortunately at this time I can not afford to purchase something that isn’t going to work so I have to be very skeptical of things until I find out differently. Thank you for your patience I would appreciate any real proof that it works.

          I use AlmondPlus milk. It is soy free and dairy free, and only 70 cals per cup. The sugar/ carb content is lower than regular milk also.

  6. I am not getting married but I could stand to lose some weight and 2-5 pounds per week sounds great. How long do you recommend staying on the Body by Vi diet? Most diets are supposed to teach you how to eat properly and make the smart choices and then you change the way you eat forever, how can you do that with this? I for one would not want to drink shakes for the rest of my life and only eat one meal a day or whatever it takes to lose the weight. I am always looking for a quick fix when it comes to losing weight and if this can do what you said it can do I want to try it and while I do that I will learn as much as I can about nutrition so I don’t make the same mistakes over and over again.

  7. That was extremely interesting, I never knew how they calculated the point system in Weight Watchers and I have wondered that for a long time. It just never made since to me that you could eat what ever you wanted as long as you didn’t go over your points for the day, but how would you lose weight if every meal you ate nothing but sugar even if it didn’t go over your points? I guess if you did that your meals would be really small and you would definitely be hungry all the time. It is nice to know that you can use these shakes and still use Weight Watchers with it though, I appreciate you taking the time to explain it the way it should have been explained a long time ago.

  10. It’s strange that “Larry” and “Melodie” said almost exactly the same thing.

    But to the comments that people had about being hungry or bored on Weight Watchers, I can safely say they weren’t doing the program properly. There are literally hundreds of zero point foods (not just green beans) and thousands of low-point foods. The program is designed to provide proper nutrition and eating satisfaction.
    I also wonder if the people who said they ‘tried Weight Watchers’ were going to meetings –which are an integral part of members’success; if they were, they would know that weigh-ins are confidential (not “in front of all these people”) and that if they weren’t having the success they wanted (or were hungry) they could (should!) ask their leader for help.

    That said, I think the Vi shakes are tasty and are much more filling than I would have imagined.

      Thank you for that very succinct and truthful response. You corrected several “untruths” about weight watchers in one quick response. I have had great success with Weight Watchers, both with Vi shakes and without. There is never a need to be hungry on WW and I have never once been made to feel bad after a weigh in. Leaders are trained to handle weigh-ins in a very respectful manner with no need for ANYONE to know what you did. I have lost 50 lbs and have 60 to go… I do not always use 2 shakes per day – I mostly use 1 for dinner or breakfast… My other meals and snacks are mostly non-processed, clean foods with high protein and complex carbs, all learned through Weight Watchers and regular meeting attendance.
