  1. Definitely adding this post to my blogroll! Thanks!

  2. Jlawrencej says:

Thank you so much for putting this on your site. There is another site that has the “100” on it, but it won’t let you copy and print (like that person came up with all 100 recipes right???)! I got the BBV iPhone app yesterday and it has all 100 recipes, but once you tap on a recipe, you can’t go back……so it’s useless in the grocery store! I have had the most wonderful shakes and smoothies! I’m a little slower getting off the ground than the other posts I’ve read. I’m two weeks in and have only lost 5 lbs., but hey, that’s 5 less than when I started so I’ll take it! This is so effortless and not like a diet and it’s GOOD! It’s like I’m treating myself! So again, thanks!!!

    • Five pounds the first week is EXCELLENT! I don’t know if you’re a male or female, but as a female I can tell you that two pounds a week is healthy. Frustrating, I know, but you’ll get used to the pace. (Your first week of 5 was probably some water weight, too.) I’m just beginning Month 3, and I’ve lost about 24 pounds. So just give in to the rhythm of the weight loss, focus your attention on something else (watched pot never boils). And, if you’re like me, you’ll discover that you actually start craving the shake.

But do keep a calendar of your poundage. I weigh myself every day (otherwise I’d be fantasizing about massive weigh loss only to feel let down on a weekly basis). And I write down the number in a specially designated calendar. I can flip to the previous week, or previous month, and see the indisputable progress I’m making. And that keeps my eye on the prize.

    • If we are part of this whole challenge why can’t we print these recipes out? Its frustrating as it would be great to have them on hand all the time.:(

      • If you are already part of the Body By Vi Challenge, all these recipes are available to you in your Vi Net back office and also through the Visalus Recipe Facebook App. I know it’s frustrating not to be able to print. That is why there is a link to the FB recipe app in the comment flow.

  3. Thanks for the great recipes. Wow! This is great – can hardly wait to try them. Thanks Again!!!

  4. Great list it will keep me busy for awhile!

  8. LOVE this page!!! I use it EVERYDAY!!! Thank You!!

  9. It doesn’t have my favorite on here though….Carrot Cake Shake :(

  10. Does anyone know of some shakes using vegs?

    • Anne Parker says:

Betty, I make a shake with 1/2 avocado, 1/2 pear, peeled,2scoops Body by Vi,a few frozen blueberries, 1/2 cup Greek vanilla yogurt, 12 oz. Pure Almond Milk, almond flavoring. It makes an excellent shake and the avocado has so many healthy qualities in it.

1 piece of after eight chocolate ( this adds 40 calories. You can try peppermint extract, but it’s not as good)

  17. Can any suggest recipes that are less sweet and warm?

  18. Pam Martin says:

How do I make a copy of these recipes!!!
It will not allow me to do so.
    Anyone?
    Thanks,
    Pam

    • You can pull up the page Pam and print it out, by just clicking on your print option. Then you will have all the recipes right at your fingertips!

      • Yes, but if you print that way it prints all the comments, too. I wanted to copy and select print selection. The way it is set up, you can’t do that. Wish you could. Great recipes!

        • Check your email Kristie.

hey there i just signed up with the transfermation kit. I am a salon owner and i am hoping i am succesful with this program and i can start to sell Body By Vi. I am planning on going grocery shopping and this will be soooooo helpful! thank you again for your time.

            sarah

      • Anne Marie Dueck says:

I tried just clicking the print option after pulling the page up, and all it did was to print all the tags in the right sidebar. I can’t seem to manage printing the 100 recipes because it won’t let me copy and paste. Please help! I want to keep a copy of these in my kitchen & in my purse when I’m grocery shopping for quick reference.

      • Lori Benge says:

I also would love to have these recipes but unable to print.

  19. Sigh….I’m allergic to all animal proteins, including milk products….where’s the vegan option? Please develop one

    • Almond milk, soy milk, any kind of juices

    • Most times soy milk, almond milk or fruit juices can easily be substituted. As far as yogurt, I’m sure there are vegan options for that of some kind. Guess I am not seeing where it’s that big of a problem as most of these recipes use almond or soy milk anyhow.

  20. I’m going to try a hot mocha mix with my shake for this cold weather. I tried the mocha cold and it tastes like a frappacino, was really good, almost too good to be a diet.

  21. Hey everybody! This is a fantastic list and it inspired me to experiment even more on my own. Yes, there’s shredded carrots in this recipe and NO you can’t taste them!

    ORANGE DREAM
2 rounded scoops Body by Vi shake mix
    12 oz. 100% orange juice
    6 ice cubes
2 T. fat free plain or vanilla yogurt
    1/8-1/4 c. shredded carrots
1/4 c. frozen pineapple and mango chunks
    1/2 a small banana
    Blend until smooth.

  22. HisEmpress says:

Are you kidding me with half of these… I really hope people do not seriously think you can take a VERY HEALTHY protein shake… add all kinds of garbage to it and still loose weight. Things like pudding (even it it is sugar free), cake batter (SERIOUSLY??), and cream cheese are not things you would normally even eat with a regular diet. The protein powder does not instantly make these things healthy. Dont get me wrong there are A LOT of good recipes on here but some of them make no sense what so ever!!

    • I agree with you. There are many recipes in this list that are wonderful and some that are too sweet and have unhealthy ingredients. When we work personally with people on the challenge, we coach them and teach them about healthy eating and healthy choices. The “dessert” shakes are used more for special occasions.

    • Even with the added sugar free and fat free add ins these shakes are still much healthier than the food most people put in their mouths each day!!! Some of the ad ins only add 50-100calories, keeping the shake at a still 250 calorie healthy breakfast!!!

  23. My version of the strawberry banana one. And yeah, I like sneaking veggies in anytime I can because I’m terrible at eating them otherwise.

    STRAWBERRY BANANA
2 scoops Body by Vi shake mix
    7-8 ice cubes
    1 small banana
    1/4-1/2 cup frozen strawberries
    10 oz. LIGHT strawberry-banana V8 VFusion juice
5-6 baby carrots cut up or shredded
If you wanna thicken it a bit, 2 T fat free vanilla or plain yogurt does the trick.

  24. I have been using 1% milk is that ok?

  25. Would love to have a copy of these to print that didnt print all the extra tags and comments!Starting my challenge tomorrow and really want to be armed not to get bored and these all sound great!

  26. Anne Parker says:

I make my shake with 2 scoops of Body by Vi shake mix, 1/2 avocado, 1/2 peeled pear with seeds removed, 1/2 cup Greek non-fat yogurt vanilla, almond flavoring, 12 oz. of pure almond milk and a few blueberries. It is so good, you don’t taste the avocado but it is so good for you!

  27. How can I get this to print?

  28. i would love a copy for my kitchen as well please :)

  29. The easiest way to print these recipes to to use the Microsoft snipping tool or another screen shot program and take screen shots of the recipes..like taking a picture of your screen. You can then print the picture. I have tried emailing people individually, but I miss many of you do to the quantity of requests. I am sorry that you can’t copy then the usual way. For other reasons I am unable to change that at this time. I don’t mean to laugh, but remember the days (at least I do..bet I’m dating myself here) when to copy information from a book or a resource, one had to use a pen and write the info down? I went through two graduate degree programs still using index cards when I did research. I am not making light of your frustration..yet the 21st century amazes me sometimes…we have come to expect such ease and quickness. Just a few short years ago we didn’t even have computers.

  30. christine says:

Please email the list of ingredients of the base product

  31. I’m still new to this, but I made my own recipe that I really enjoy:
    2 scoops ViShape Mix
10 oz Simply Lemonade with Raspberry
1/2 cup fresh raspberries or blackberries
    6 ice cubes

  32. I just received my first ViShape Mix and was hoping to find a recipe for a “coffee shop” type coffee drink. It’s winter and as much as I love frozen drinks I would enjoy a hot beverage in the morning. Anyone have any out there? I prefer French Vanilla Flavor. Thanks!

  33. I went to “print preview” option in the printer drop-down menu. In the print preview I clicked on the printer and it brought up my printer options. I clicked the button to select the page #’s to print, entered 1-7 and it printed just those pages. Hope this helps.

    • Thanks Bill….I suggested a similar option way back somewhere in the comment thread. I appreciate your creativity and taking the time to post.

  34. Henriette says:

Product says “lactose free” but it also says “contains milk”. I thought milk had lactose. Also the label on the package says Whey Protein Concentrate but on the website I read that it was Whey Protein Isolate, which is correct?

  35. Donna Camby says:

I need to print a copy of the recipes to keep in my kitchen. How can I do so? I don’t know anything about s “snipping tool”.

  36. Mikka Pelletier says:

I want to be able to right click on this then paste it to my Microsoft Word so I can print them out and put it on the fridge… So I don’t have to go to my computer every time to check for a different one….

    • Have you had your thyroid checked? I think it would be worth a shot. I have no thyroid and lost 2.5 my first week, I expect my progress to be slower than most. If you aren’t losing you could have hypothryoidism. It is worth having it checked. If your levels are borderline, some naturapaths have vitamins for thyroid boost. And stay away from soy, and don’t eat alot of broccoli or cauliflower or cabbage, blocks your natural thyroid absorption. Isn’t a bad idea to have that checked. I went for years undiagnosed and doing the 30 lb up and down game.

      Good luck.

    • Hi read your message, I also have been on the shakes for almost 4 weeks and only lost 3 lbs. Whats up I know quite a few people on this with great weight loss. I am following it the right way, don’t understand why im not losing but will keep it up and see what happens????

      • For every person, it’s different. Make sure you are getting enough calories and enough water. That’s the place to start.

  40. What are you supposed to be using as a scoop. I am not sure how much to put in. It says 2 scoops but is that teaspoons, tablespoon or what? Anyone??

  41. ohh I just found it ..THANKS VERY MUCH FOR YOUR INPUT and I will do just that ..Thanks again

  42. I am having the same problem as everyone else with printing the recipes. I get all of the comments and have 22 plus pages coming through the printer. HELP!! I need these on my refrigerator door at all times!!!! LOVE Vi-Shakes.
    Thanks so much.

  43. doesn’t adding all this extra stuff end up making a high calorie drink, waiting on my shakes to arrive, just wonderig. I don’t want to gain because of high calories

    • No.. Just the right amount…be thoughtful..some are special occasion shakes, but most are just right.

  44. I make one with frozen strawberries, orange and a small banana. I also use soy milk. Yum it is so good.

Another is frozen strawberries, mangos and soy milk, delicious! Even my kids love them.

  45. Can the shakes be made in the evening and then placed in refrigerator or freezer for the next day? I have to leave in the mornings and don’t have times to make them.

  46. Can you substitute the Different Almond Milks with Fat Free Milk??

  47. Can the shakes be made & frozen for the next day? I don’t always have time in the mornings to make my 2 shakes or that day?

  48. Hello, Can you email me these receipes so I can print them w/o all the comments? thx

  49. Is it okay to have only 1 shake a day to lose weight? I drink a cup of coffee in the morning and sometimes a small piece of fruit like a banana or apple, I have the shake for lunch and an afternoon snack like some baby carrots then I have a healthy dinner…Will this work? I bought the 30 month supply for the Shape Kit but wanted to make it last as long as I could… I also work out and burn between 700-900 calories a day… I just started this diet today btw :) Thanks!

  50. Evette Futrell says:

This is day 3 of my 90 day challenge. I am not sure what I’m supposed to b eating for snacks and how many times a day. Thanks n advance.

  51. Rowland says:

I don’t really care for milk, can I substitute non fat yogurt or no sugar juice and still be successful?

  52. Michelle says:

just wanted to say visalus is such an amazing great tasting product :)

  53. Great list. Very much appreciated!

  54. I find these recipes to sound amazing however when your used to making a shake with only 100 calories and try one of these you about double or triple that which isn’t something I want when I am watching my carbs and calories. They are nice treats but to me not an everyday thing. I post this because before I started my challenge I didn’t care about the calories in things and now being on 1200 calories I try to maximize my foods without the large amount of calories.

    • The Body By Vi Challenge program is designed for 2 shakes per day, 2 healthy snacks and one healthy meal with good food. Each shake should be between 200 – 250 calories to fill the definition of a “meal” and give you enough calories in your day. There are some recipes that are more like treats…but most fit this qualification.

  55. FoxyWilson says:

I noticed at the top someone had some ideas for a HOT drink using the shakes instead of just cold ones. I would love to have some ideas if anyone has them.

  56. Which is better for weight loss….skim milk or almond milk?

  57. Lindsey says:

Is there any websites that have shake recipes, as well as, the calorie content for each? I agree that some of these recipes would be adding way too many calories for me personally so I would like an idea of which ones would be under a certain calorie count….

  58. I had no problem printing the pages I wanted. Just select pages 1-6 (the ones with the recipes and NOT the comments on my computer) in your printer settings. I could also print from my iPhone; however, with that method it prints all 25 pages! Still, easy to print.

  59. Pam Buxton says:

I want the recipes so I can print them too please.

  60. If you have the option to print my page just print pages 1 to 4 for the recipes without the comments.

  61. beth joza says:

Where do you get flavor packets or what are they? Also the A looking symbol near a lot of cup sizes what does that mean?

    • The flavor packets come in your kit… and then you can purchase boxes of you favorite flavor. The “A” symbol is a weird typo thing that got added mysteriously throughout this blog post…

  62. Stephanie says:

Can you give me some suggestions. I have been doing two shakes a day for almost 3 weeks, been eating 2 healthy snacks a day, and having a much better dinner than I used to eat. I haven’t lost any weight..and only one inch off my middle but that could just be me not putting the tape measure in the same exact spot. I am a little discouraged. I only use unsweetened almond milk, water, or skim milk in my shakes and so far have only used fruit in them so none of the “dessert” shakes. Please send me some advice. I also drink water throughout the day and have recently added 30 min cardio and still nothing. Thanks for any and all help/suggestions!! (shorty05@luckymail.com)

    • From this brief description it appears that you are not having enough calories. Add fruit to your shakes and increase your water. Vi Trim and Vi Slim work great…

  63. morning banana coffee

    8oz. fat free milk
    2 scoops vi-shape mix
    @6″ frozen banana
    1 tsp instant coffee
    blend well and enjoy!

The instant coffee only adds 2 calories. My wife and I love it.

  64. Rita Kato says:

    Hello,

I love the taste of Vi shakes and I love the way it makes me feel. I did not weigh in when I started but did take my measurements. The first month I did well and noticed my clothes were getting lose. Almost and the end of my 2nd month and not making much progress. I think I am not eating enough or eating too much fruit. I am intaking more fruit that I ever have and my mother says that is bad because of the sugar. “Mom’s always know best” she says…LOL..What is your take on how much fruit one should intake while taking two shakes a day. breakfast and lunch and fruit and yogurt in between. I am in Houston, Texas and I am also considering being a promoter of this product but need to have the proof for the pudding. :-) Please give me your take on fruit. My friend that I purchased mine from says I am probably not eating enough and that is why my weight loss has slowed down.
Also, I had two friends signed up that are both going to stop taking it due to constipation. I have never heard of this. I have no probem with it. Have you heard. I told them to drink more water but they are wanting to can cancel they’re orders.
    Thanks,
    Rita Kato

    • Yes..more calories, at least 1200 per day. Lots of water. Add fiber for constipation. Some people react that way to the added protein in their diet, but it is temporary. I am always interested in talking to people who want to Promote The Challenge. http://PromoteBodyByVi.com . Contact me through the website.

  65. I seen several things about the Body by Vi…but dont know much about it as far as specifics…I need to lose about 30 lbs….can I do it with the “Shape Kit”?

  66. Hi, I thought 1 time I saw a recipe for a cookies and cream shake….can anyone help???

  67. Missy Helbert says:

I am down 12lbs in two weeks. As a 50 year old female I love the shakes. I drink about a gallon of water a day and run/walk 2-1/2 miles a day. Add a little cardio ladies with 2-shakes a day and the weight will fall off.

  68. I would like more recipes for making food not shakes. One person posted the No Bake Energy Bites and they are amazing. If anyone had other recipes they would like to share…that would be wonderful!!!!

  69. Sandra Trute says:

I am not able to print the recipes, could you please email them to me?

  70. Donna Anderson says:

Could you please send me the 100 recipes by email as I am starting on Monday.
I can’t wait to start. My sister and niece started it and in 7 days lost 5lbs.
Hope I lose that in 7 days as I have a lot to lose.
    I am excited about this.
    Thank you, Donna.

  71. it’s nice that you take the time to put these recipes here. I have a problem with how sweet all this is. I am not a sweet eater by nature and I was hoping and praying that there would be even ONE recipe here that was not sweet. Alas, I was wrong. The search continues. Thanks anyway.

    • Try grapefruit juice… Even a few tablespoons make the sweetness go away. Veggie shakes are way less sweet too. Experiment.

  72. I was just wondering how you know how many calories, etc are in there delicious sounding recipes.

  73. Hi guys, I am getting started on this and i was hoping someone might have some advice for me.. I have thyroid cancer and though im not in remission after surgery i cannot undergo anymore treatments until dec. So i decided, what the heck lets get healthier than ever! Is there a better way to take the shake? i am working out 5 days a weeks too. I need to lose 50 pounds from all the swelling and gain weight from the illness and meds! Help!!:)

    • You have a great attitude Jessah. Two Shakes per day. Two healthy snacks. One healthy meal . That is the simple weight loss program. If your doctor approves you can use the supplements in the Transformation Kit to lose weight a bit faster with less hunger.
If you have not yet ordered, http://www.BestWeightLossShake.com

  74. Can you please email me the recipes.. i have the product at home and havent found anything to use it in… so im excited to try this.. thanks

can you please email a copy of these recipes. Thank you

  76. I started BBV about 2 weeks ago and I like using fresh fruit instead of frozen and I bought a gorgeous juicy fresh pineapple yesterday at Sams and I want to use the fresh pineapple to make a pina colada shake but I’m worried that the acid in the pineapple will curdle the milk. Any suggestions?

  77. Your setup for getting recipes stinks!!! i just had to print out 29 pages because it wouldn’t let me highlight to just print the recipes.I hope you can make it more user friendly in the future.I see I’m not alone in this problem.

    • If you scroll through the comments , there are many places where I provide a link to another recipe location where you can in fact print more easily. Also, if you are already a Visalus customer, you have access to a Visalus Facebook App with even more recipes than are on this blog.

  78. Hey everyone! i’m so excited to have found this! i bought my first Shape Kit though a woman i know who sells the product (net month going to order from the web so i have all the online access and perks! I just bagan the Body By Vi Challenge on Saturday 11/10. i’m really very excited! i haven’t had a shake i didn’t like yet! i will say, i did the Candy CAne shake for lunch today, the recipe calls for 1/2 tsp of peppermint, but i found this to be a bit strong, i am probably going to just try 1/4 tsp next time! Best of luck to everyone on your BBV Challenges!

  79. Hi, im new to body by vi! My first day was yesterday. I was trying to find help on the website and couldnt really find the info i was looking for. Im wondering how we find out how many calories our shakes come to when we add yogurt or fruit etc. Also for snacks is there an extended list of ideas other then the one provided in the shakes. And approx what amount calories is our supper allowed to be? I so havea weight watchers book so ican pretty much get it down to the exact calorie intake. I have to loss 20 by may to fit my wedding dress and i dont want to do this wrong and not see results. Thanks for any help.

    • You can figure out the calories you add, with any calorie counter.
The other information you requested is inside your Vi Net under the Body By Vi Tab and Transformation Tools.
The person you ordered the Vi Shakes from should be helping you with all of this. When people work with me directly, I provide all this information and more, plus weekly coaching to reach their goal. You can contact me directly at info@join-body-by-vi.com

I just signed up for the shake kit and I cannot print the shake recipes, can the be emailed to me or sent to me by us mail.

  81. Does anyone have a recipe for a vegetable shake?

  82. when it says A with that little sign above it ,,,dows that mean 1
    as 1 1/2 cup

  83. Can you send me a copy of 100 recipes too my email please :)

  84. it seems like these shakes would be full of calories

    • The shake is a meal replacement. A healthy meal, even on a weight loss plan, should be at least 180 calories and up to 250 is fine. Most of the recipes fall in that range. A few are “special treat” shakes and may be a bit higher. Just be smart about it.

  85. Will you get the same results if you only use 1 scoop of the shake mix instead of 2? I have a coworker who thinks its too sweet and just does 1 scoop with her shakes. Thanks!

    • One scoop is not really enough calories or protein. She may want to add extra fruit and pasturized liquid egg whites.

  86. WMorrill says:

I would like a copy of the recipes so that I can take it to the grocery store to purchase the ingredience, is this possible?

  87. These look great- thanks for sharing!

  91. I have just signed up have been reading all day about this program. I have gone ahead and paid the $99, I have been bedridden for 2 years. I cannot walk or do normal exercise, only from a wheel chair. I’m worried that without normal exercise will I be able to loose weigh. Being bedridden I have gained so much weigh. I hope Vi can work.

  92. Adriana Millanes says:

Can you please show me how to copy the recipes without all the comments…I am trying to get people to order but they are asking for recipes….HELP

    • From this blog you cannot copy the recipes at all with your mouse.
Sorry. It’s a protection for the entire blog.
